Since the 1960s, this pub has been a regular spot for me and three of my school friends, so it feels like a part of my heritage. Located near Hardwick Hall, Newstead Abbey, and a fabulous caravan park in Teversal, as well as being close to other fantastic places like the city of Nottingham (18 miles away), this pub offers a taste of old village charm in Skegby. Their Sunday lunches are particularly popular and must be booked in advance. Tourists from the USA would find this pub to be a charming glimpse into traditional UK culture.
great pub, great atmosphere too. so nice to sit in the garden, drink a drink and horses could come during the day. over the street is a farm with many animals and alpacas. so relaxing. the personal is also very friendly. I loved this pub since I was a kid.
The owner greeted us warmly, the beer was excellent, and they were welcoming to dogs. Unfortunately, we arrived around 1pm and missed out on the food, which started at 3pm.
The home-cooked food at this restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning, and we appreciate that the pub is dog-friendly. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
more beautiful place to go if you need a quick box stop. they have a small playground for children to play, parking and friendly environment
