Meat and Wine Co continues to exceed my expectations every time I dine there! It has firmly secured its place as my all-time favorite restaurant, consistently delivering an outstanding experience. The affordability of the menu adds to the overall appeal, providing excellent value for the exceptional quality of food and service. I wholeheartedly recommend indulging in the Pork Ribs and the Chicken Skewer—two dishes that never fail to impress. The experience is elevated by their sauces (I recommend the Blue Cheese or Mushroom sauce). Food: The pork belly was magnificent and the ribs were delicious. Chips, onion rings and blue cheese sauce were average. The Salted Caramel mousse was well presented but not to our taste. The cocktails were refreshing and good size. Service: Waitresses were friendly and service was good and quick. They made us feel welcome. Atmosphere: The restaurant is well presented. The music was a bit to loud, it was hard to hear the waitress and we had to speak up to hear each other. Have been to Meat and Wine Co at least a couple dozen times over the last few years. Hawthorn and Southbank are great, but the service at Chadstone has room for improvement. From a waiter who wants to use his memory instead of writing things down and forgetting half the order to another waiter who promises to get back to you but never does, Chadstone is my least favourite of all the Meat and Wine Co restaurants. The food and vibes is always 10/10 here. It’s not my first time eating here and it definitely won’t be my last. The staff are super attentive and friendly. I had to pork ribs which was just amazing!
