We went for a weekend lunch here and were really happy with the waitstaff and overall quality of the food. What spoiled our first experience at Meatball Bar was a rude interruption from who appeared was the owner - he was taking photos of a table of food and asked us to move from our table for 5 mins so he could get the right shot. This would have been fine, except he offered us a free drink and when we accepted, said we were cheap and then in the end never brought any free drink to us at all. This really soured an otherwise good experience, I've never been treated that way at a restaurant before and hope others avoid the experience we had.
Definitely a great place to start a night out. Nice cosy restaurant with seating inside and out though traffic noise could be annoying if outside at busy time. Cocktails were very tasty and the food - wow - very delicious. The best part serves were just the right size for a change. The staff are from many different backgrounds and loved the varied accents. Extremely friendly and helpful and no request was a bother. They have some fabulous specials as well. Will be taking the family next time
Cool ambience, we received our mains before our entree. Gnocchi did not taste "handmade" with the rubberiness and sour tang of cheap frozen ones. meatballs were good and would definitely stick to just buying the balls. also the promotion when you buy an entree and main you get a free martini was not allowed for our group because we shared the entree, where one person could've just had it as we all ordered mains !

Wonderful and friendly service. Great decor and cleanliness. Unfortunately the place is quite small, so make sure you reserve a table! Everything is meant to be shared and the food is tasty but a tad on the expensive side. Due to the pricing we don't come here too often, but it is a nice treat.
Very busy Thursday night. Friendly and comfortable service. A bit noisy. Other than that everything was good.
