First time dining at The Meeting House in downtown Rochester, also the last time dining there. My meal was okay, although I thought $32 was a little steep for a pork chop with a tablespoon of spaghetti squash as a side. I ordered a premium bourbon on the rocks which at $14 was in line with what other restaurants of this caliber would charge. What I didn't expect, was to pay an additional $3.00 for a single, large ice cube. Seriously? Just charge me $17 for the drink.
My sister just had her reception on the upper floor of The Meeting House. It was beautiful!!! The food was delicious. The only minor conplaint was that the chicken was a little dry, and it needed some type of sauce on it. The short ribs and the garlic potatoes are to die for!
Experience: The food was delicious and the ambiance was great for a casual brunch with friends. The menu had a good variety of options and the service was attentive. The prices were reasonable for the quality of food. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.
A smallish, semi rotating menu that always seems to have the best of what is in season. My day to day job is growing food, and I can tell you everything that has been served to me here is top quality. The servers are always fantastic too! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The only downside was that the tables were a bit too close together. Overall, I would give the food a 5, service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.
Had a great eggs benny at a decent price, not exactly a gem, but a good restaraunt with even better bartenders. Cocktails do make this place stand out a bit.
