we love this place! we have been for food several times and it has always been exceptional! the welcome of the personal is in the second to none and the service is excellent! we had a meal 2 days ago and again we were not disappointed! karen (one of the owners) decorated the whole place for christmas nicely! it looks magical! well done all!

for the first time visit on Sunday. pub was very busy as it was vatertag and we had to wait one for our food, although we had booked, but we were informed how long we wait and receive apologies for the delay. to the happiness was eating that was really excellent and worth a lot of it. we're coming back!

out here first meal. was already often for a drink. welcome to the rental company, quickly sitting. it had to wait for an order to eat, but it was busy. When the food arrived, it was not disappointed. I ordered pork cake with veg, andy had mixed grill amazing, good value for money.

fantastic meal last night in this little gem of a pub, running on our way to home from york. friendly reception with excellent food and service. menu big choice. will definitely be back.
