I always visit this restaurant when in St Ives, to me, it’s perfect! Everything you could possibly wish for in a restaurant the Mex delivers. The food is fresh and truly delicious, actually mouthwatering, service attentive and extremely friendly, good portion sizes and reasonably priced. We have started visiting twice each holiday, think it’s going to be upped to 3 as nothing else comes close. If you like Mexican food (surely everyone likes at least fajitas? this is an absolute must so book yourself in and enjoy. Thank you Mex, we love our visits and will definitely be back next holiday.
Had such a great evening with family and everyone enjoyed their food, lovely little authentic restaurant with a nice relaxed friendly atmosphere. Great food including fish tacos on the special menu, and sizzling steak fajitas, ribs, nachos and finished with churros. They also serve lovely margaritas!!! Definitely worth a visit.
We booked a couple of weeks before our holiday to be sure to have a table. So glad we did as we saw so many people turned away as they were fully booked. Service was very efficient and friendly. A nice relaxed atmosphere too. Will definitely book again.
The food tasted great and everybody enjoyed their meals. The drinks were also good with Mexican sodas. I had the bean burrito which tasted delicious. We finished with churros which were great too. We'll worth a visit. Have a jalapeño day.

A lovely local restaurant with charming service and exceptional value. Really pleased we found this little gem. The portions are ginormous so be warned. It was also my birthday and it was a lovely place to start my evening. Thank you
We were recommended this restuarant by a friend the food was lovely. We came for my husbands birthday because he loves mexican. Great choice of different drinks my husband particularly enjoyed a few different tequilas.
Visited with our children. There restaurant is authentic and being only small it had a lovely atmosphere. Service was great, food was amazing and overall we loved this place.
