My boyfriend and I split the Loaded Pork sandwich and The Dave (BBQ Pulled pork with Crisp Bacon and a smashed Mac Cheese ball! . Both had tender meat and came out hot. The Dave: A TON of meat on this sandwich. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce on the meat. Served on a round roll. The Crisp Bacon added a nice crunch. Make sure you are hungry, and ask for extra napkins! Loaded Pork Sandwich: The roasted pork was seasoned nicely, complimented by Roasted Red Peppers, sauteed Spinach and a generous amount of Provolone Cheese. The pork had a nice flavor and was juicy. I visited the restaurant on Friday around 5 PM, and it was fairly empty. There were three staff members at the bar, but we had to wait for the server to get off her phone before we could finally receive a menu. Unfortunately, the place was infested with gnats, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal, as we spent most of the time swatting them away. Until the service improves and the bug issue is resolved, I think I'll stick with Dominic's Tavern for now.
We arrived around 7:00 pm, and there were only a handful of patrons. We decided to sit at the bar, where the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The beer selection is quite impressive. We ordered a few appetizers and drinks, and as the evening progressed, more people began to arrive, which was nice to see. Everything was fantastic, and I will definitely return. I had a fantastic time tonight! The appetizers were fun and delicious, and I absolutely loved the burgers and tacos. The draft beer selection was impressive, and they even let us sample some before making our choice. The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. To top it all off, we enjoyed some amazing funnel fries for dessert. Overall, a wonderful experience!
