Had breakfast here this morning, always walking passed and have never popped in. We are inside, and it is quite spacey which was surprising, you can't really see in from the road, so that was good!
As soon as we sat down we were pushed for an order which was a little, pushy. But we asked for 5 minutes and waved down a waiter when we were ready.
I ordered the poached eggs on toast and my partner French toast. Both meals came out fast, and I even had a staff member salt and pepper my eggs at the table which was really thoughtful and was rather warming :)

My husband and I had brunch here today and as per our 3 previous experiences the food, drinks and service were great. We were seated straight away and asked for our drink and food orders within 5 minutes of sitting. The food and drinks came within 10-15 minutes of ordering and the food was delicious. I had a Breakfast Stack on gluten free Toast and a Chai Latte both of which were very nice. My husband had a Mocha and the BLT and thoroughly enjoyed both. We will be back :)
Personally I find this cafe slightly average. I've visited on a few occasions and nothing really stands out. On last visit I couldn't make up my mind so went with the Salmon Eggs Benedict. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't exciting either. The hollandaise sauce is nice and creamy though and the bread it is served with it good, but it just didn't blow me away. Pies are nice. Coffee is decent. With so many fabulous Freo eateries I don't think I'll return.
I love this café. The service is great, and the staff are very friendly. The food coffee are delicious, in particular their scones, Bruschetta seafood chowder. I used to go there every week when I was in Fremantle, but now visit whenever I can, especially when I meet friends for coffee.

Don't get the granola..
I was really disappointed with my breakfast unfortunately.. the granola was not how it should be.. soggy and milky with frozen berries that had been microwaved I assume. It was more like porridge :( Great coffee though and good service.
Standard Fremantle food. Some nice options with attentive staff. A little off the beaten track but easy to access and reasonable portions. Good coffee. Liked the Breakfast Stack and the Chorizo Omelette was fine.
Second time here for breakfast. Really enjoyed the omelette, not too heavy and good size serves . Coffee was also good and service was really great . I think a bit better value than on the main drag ..
This is a basic place with characterStaff friendly and efficientService was spot onA limited menu for breakfast and lunch.

What a charming family-run cafe! Had a lovely lunch there a couple of weeks ago and could barely find a table.
I almost don't wanna write this review because I want to keep an ace up my sleeve, if you get what I mean.
