After the hustle and bustle of Christmas, I decided to go to a restaurant that has always been a favorite of mine. Unfortunately, the service was slow from the moment we arrived at the door until we placed our drink order. They were running a special on cocktails, but when we received the bill, we were charged full price for all drinks. I went to the Millstream as we were new to the area and wanted to give it a go. We booked a table the day before, as we thought it would be busy being a Sunday on the run up to Christmas. Had we not...booked, we wouldn't have got a table. As it was, we did have to wait minutes, but I thought that was reasonable given the place was packed!! The server was polite and efficient, and our food came out after a fair amount of time. I ordered a small turkey roast dinner, which was delicious. My recent experience at The Millstream was exceptional. Last week, my party enjoyed a delicious meal and a few drinks. Our waitress, a young girl with long blonde hair, was incredibly efficient and kind. Unfortunately, another table nearby had difficult customers who started causing a scene by shouting at a waitress. However, the manager handled the situation calmly. I must also commend the bartender, a young man with long brown hair in a side parting, who remained calm and collected during the ordeal, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and making us feel at ease.
