The Millbrook Tavern At The Bethel Inn Resort

there are 2 nights as we had the food package. the food was good, but the service was missing. we waited a long time for drinks in the bar area and I asked for coffee with dessert and never got it. the second night did not eat in the bar area and had the tomatenbisque, which was delicious, but very filled, so asked to bring a container home. I asked 3 times and all three times was said that it would come, but never. also ordered coffee with dessert and it never came again. no coffee and no container before we're gone. the food was good, but the service was missing.

Food and waiter were good. We attempted to go to the bar prior to dinner and no one would even talk to us let alone wait on us. The seating was less than desirable, our table for dinner was small and next to the entrance. Probably good for a burger and beer, but not worth the time for a nice dinner.

Food quality poor overall a totally forgettable experience. After a comprehensive explanation of our competent server we went for the Chimichanga special which came cold with tasteless rice and a house salad. How can this property talk about ‘fine dining’ in it’s promotional material?

The service was great as usual. The food prices have increased significantly over last year. It is my understanding there is a new chef and the food in my opinion isn’t as good as it has been in the past.

I would recommend the restaurant to people who tolerate noise well. The combination of rowdy diners, three or four televisions, and music detracted from the ambience I would expect at the Bethel Inn.
