Oh dear, I found this place on 17th April and was impressed I wrote a glowing review of their great roast dinner. I also came back several times over the past few months. But today’s lunch was such a disappointment. It was a completely new chef and a very different experience. The Yorkshires were doughy and when one of us asked for a change was told ‘they’re always like that’! No they’re not. The roast potatoes were not crispy. The grave was not as tasty. It was still a passable roast dinner but it wasn’t a great roast dinner. I took a small plate and I asked for more meat than the one small slice I was given, the chef was rude, saying ‘you should get a bigger plate then’ I was only getting...
Absolutely fabulous pub. We had Sunday lunch which was hand carved carvery, all fresh veg.... superb. We sat both inside in the gorgeous garden. The owners staff were so friendly. Called in for midweek meal while watching the football. Asked for a table in the bar area so we could see tv, not a problem to the staff. Both had meals off the specials board which at £8 can not be beaten. As always stunning food, fantastic service and brilliant value for money. Keep doing what you’re doing Stu n Lynne cos it’s brill
Called out of curiosity, and the need for a drink on a hot day. We ordered lunch fish and chips. The fish was huge! Staff are friendly, and helpful. The place is well set out, much bigger I side than you imagine with a function room just off the bar and a pleasant area outside with tables with umbrella's and plenty of seating.

We visited The Miners Arm for Sunday lunch. The service was fantastic from start to finish, plenty of friendly staff serving. The food was home cooked and generously portioned. We managed to squeeze in dessert and thoroughly enjoyed. The bill came to £37 for 2 carveries, 2 desserts and 3 drinks.
We called in for a meal on sat teatime on 25/05/19, we ordered our meal and what a shock, the quality, freshness, and quantity, beautiful tasty hot meals, you won't be disappointed. Well done the cook and waitress.
The pub was really well decorated, the food was quite wonderful but a little on the small side. However, the Sunday roast was tasty to say the least. The local customers were friendly too.
Omg. First time getting a sunday lunch takeaway. Excellent value for money. Gorgeous food. It wont be our last. Well recommended.
