This is somewhere where I've wanted to try for awhile. I booked a table just to be safe as it ended up being smaller than expected. We were greeted warmly and shown to our reserved table which consisted of a squishy sofa with a low coffee table. We did ask if we could be seated elsewhere as it seemed impractical to eat food there . Graciously we were taken to the back with high tables much better! The food is fantastic if you love cheese (as the place name suggests) meat, and nibbles. There were a few starters or for £15 each you could choose a platter with x2 cheeses of your choice. Visited the Mouse Trap 14/5/2022 our reservation was for 6:15pm For a small place it was buzzing with people so it's very popular. Whilst awaiting our table,we had a little drink and chat with a staff member at the bar, she was very friendly and welcoming After being seated we made our choice from the menu. The food was delicious, I loved the paté. We left full that's for sure. Great atmosphere, awesome service, really busy so they are doing something right. Many thanks for an enjoyable evening.
Really friendly and welcoming reception. The staff are amazing and can offer good advice on the different cheeses. Really enjoyed a lazy Sunday few drinks and the nibbles are a perfect way to try different cheeses. Will definitely be returning! I'm going to make it my mission to try all the different cheeses on the menu. Thumbs up from me!
Visited at the weekend for the second time. Fabulous platter, brilliant atmosphere and the staff, especially the young man serving us, were so bright and cheerful and nothing was too much. Took a doggie bag home and even that was wrapped and packaged really lovely. Highly recommend and will certainly be visiting again...10/10...
I love this place, I visited a few times. the staff/owners are always friendly and up to earth. I love eating the plates good quality and the drinks are also great. it is a very chilled place and beautiful to spend a few hours (they never feel rushed).
the place is really intimate and has a beautiful bush. it has more vegan options than many standard restaurants and they feel that they have thought about it rather that ticks a box. it is nice to go out with friends and all to pay attention.
Charlotte our waitress was amazing i never knew service like this was possible in this country. The recommendation's where spot on as a couple of the group are fussy eater's.With service like this and the quality of the food i shall return.
We ordered a corporate grazing board for our fifth birthday at Tao Digital and it was absolutely incredible! Fed seven people including some leftovers. The chilli jam was unreal!!
Excellent selection of cheese and meats. If you like a good cheese this is the place for you. Lovely inside, friendly and helpful staff and good food. What more do you need?
