The Mulan - Tisch reservieren

We have never eaten here before and have been looking for a good Chinese since we moved to the area years ago. We had heard good things about Mulan but haven't been able to visit during Covid and so this was our first opportunity. If I had written this review after the starters it would have been or star not great. Seemed very processed. Prawn toasts very disappointing. If I had written after the Peking Duck I would have rated or stars. Good but not great. Having now also eaten the mains, the score is more star which is what this review is. Like a curate's egg, good in parts! Certainly not fine dining. And the decor is very plain which doesn't give the place any atmosphere. Would we go back....

I tried The Mulan for the first time last night for a takeaway with friends and it was the best Chinese food I've had in a long time. We ordered almost every starter and they were all fantastic. The beef in the main dishes was cooked perfectly, which is not always the case with Chinese takeaways. Our large order was all correct and arrived hot. I couldn't find any faults with the food or service. This is now my go-to Chinese restaurant for dinners. Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars

Visited this evening for the time and chose the luxury set meal. Everything was outstanding from the greeting, service to the food.Really cannot fault anything and for the hosts to greet you with a nice to see you return has weight in gold.Thank you for a lovely meal and see you again.
