We loved our stay here. The Coconut Grove area was nice and safe. It's near the water. There are serenity areas and parks and dog walking areas and shops and restaurants and everything you might need within a short walk from the hotel. We had 2 rooms and they were quite different. My wife and i had a more classic formal room. Our 3 daughters' room had a more modern, almost European, feel to it. I'm not sure how many different style rooms they have, but we loved the 2 we had. Arrived after a 4 hour drive, sat waiting in front of the hotel for valet for 30 minutes, staff have zero desire to assist us. Valet never showed up, eventually someone told us to park in the garage behind the building, the gates to the garage didnt work so we and other guests waited there too. No guidance, no instructions and stunningly terrible first impression. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Front desk absolutely useless, our key to the room was left next door for some reason at a different hotel. Rooms are oddly beautiful just dont expect any management or professionalism while your here
First of all the staff was very friendly and always helpful. However the room I had was like a throwback to the 90s. While it was clean in most areas (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment) the place showed it's age. For me it was important to have a kitchen to be able to make breakfast before heading to work in the morning, thus the kitchen was a major plus. It even had a washer and dryer which came in handy due to a small wardrobe malfunction.
This place is anything but classy!! No service or amenities but they charge you a 50 dollar cleaning fee and resort fee after you leave!!! Resort fee? You offer nothing!!!! I stayed there one night and the only employee you see is the parking attendant randomly! I will not recommend this place to my clients that spend adequate time and money in the area!
