This small market stall sells fresh juices, tarts, and energy balls. Everything I saw that day was gluten-free and I believe vegan as well. It was around 4 in the afternoon when the friendly guy working there offered me a free juice with a slice of pie. The salted caramel flavor was already sold out, so I chose a fresh fig and almond tart with a nut base, along with a mixed green juice as my complimentary drink. Just as we were about to leave, it started raining, so I began eating the tart, which was so delicious that I had to go back and let the guy know how good it was. very cool place for hangout and a small break from going over oxford. they love the marketplace the feeling of everything. conveniently placed in the middle of the shopping district. really friendly atmosphere both by manufacturers and buyers. Quirky building worth a visit in his own right. fabulous cheese business, fishing business, many eat drinking places in the market especially teardrop for their beautiful beer n wein. probably best that we come, and so helpful staff. the same with the game metzger. worth visiting, even if they are a tourist in this city.
The Covered Market in Oxford is a very pretty and lovely market where one can find a number of shops for different items mostly food (fruits, cafe, bakery, take aways, cakes, etc). Besides being a market, it's also worthy of a tourist attraction in its own way. I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting Oxford to add this charming covered market in their itinerary.
really nice place, many great little shops and caffes. what looks like paper lanterns on the basis of alice in the wonderland hanging from the cool looking deck. we had lunch in sasis thai, tasty, fast and super worth. the coffee in the Greek cafe of the brothers was great. a lot of shops in a unique location, we loved it.

Just 5mins walk from the primary bus depot, Covered Market is stretched across a considerable area across the High Street.
A great looking market place with lots of different shops to look into. Also have a few Alice in wonderland features hanging from the ceiling which looked pretty cool. There are a few cafes to eat in around the place. We went to browns and had a light lunch which was great. Would definitely recommend browsing around.
I visit Oxford twice a year and Natural Buzz always makes it difficult to leave. Their cakes, especially the walnut and rawtella varieties, are amazing - absolute heaven! I wish there was a place like this in my hometown. The staff is always kind and friendly, and the juices are so refreshing.
great place to hangout and a small break from going over oxford. loved the market feeling of everything! it reminded me of a smaller version of the grand central market in los angeles. we even have to buy cakes for the birthday of my niee in the cure little cake shop there.
quite neat small market that has much to see both places to eat and buy. the crowded gasses on and off, was an experience in itself and the amount of unique and funny shops could spend hours searching the different were.
