Very unwelcoming staff. No flexibility with dishes (eg couldn 't make add a 'chat ' sauce to a dish....although there was another chat dish on menu. Mango chilli fish starter was, frankly, laughable!... 3 slithers of tasteless white fish swimming in a sickly, gloopy sauce Chicken shaslick was unseasoned (asked for side of chopped chilli- did not provide ... never known this dish come with only a small bowl of lettuce (and no rice Chutney dishes were cheap, tasteless. When Bill was brought, was told, casually the card machine is not working, so, cash only!! Who carries around £70 worth of cash, nowadays?!!.... when, I informed waiter I only had £40... I was told there 's a cash point machine...
I have always had a good experience at this curry restaurant until my most recent visit. It seems like there may have been a change in ownership because the quality of the food has declined in my opinion. Both my partner and daughter ordered the lamb balti, but they were disappointed with the dishes. My partner found his to be spicier than usual, more like a madras than a medium balti, and my daughter's dish was just a thick brown sauce. The chicken in my curry was tough, and the naan bread was not cut into portions as it usually is, with half of it burnt. The disposable towel given after the meal was cold instead of warm, and the after-dinner chocolate was replaced with a mint imperial. It...
Went to this restaurant for the first time on Christmas day. Very impressed when entering the restaurant. We had a traditional Christmas dinner. Service was good with plenty of staff to serve you. The meal was excellent. Plenty to eat which included a starter of prawn cocktail, Turkey, stuffing balls, vegetables and gravy finishing off with Christmas pudding. But you did not feel too full when leaving. A refreshing bucks fizz was also included. Although this was our first visit, we would eat here again. Thank you for making this Christmas Day relaxing.
Good evening ruined by poor food and poor management. I ordered Tandoori King Prawns starter i took a bite and was met with a mouthful of crunch, they leave the shells on. It didnt say this on yhe menu so when i complained they said it doesnt say they are taken off either on menu brilliant answer. Then asked if i could take the rest of my curry home and was told they dont do that anymore i have to do it myself. If it splashes on your clothes hard luck, so told them to throw it away then. Needless to say my 1st and last visit to this restaurant.

Has to be the best Indian restaurant south of Birmingham. Have been using since 1999 and always compare other Indian restaurants in the local area to this one. Restaurant is alway busy whatever day of the week you may visit so advisable to book Food is always too notch. Waiters attentive without being overpowering.
Picked up a takeaway here for the first time in years. Good quality was great no complaints at all. The only slight negative was that the restaurant itself seemed very chaotic and food was very late. That being said it was a Saturday night so benefit of the doubt. Overall, great dinner and would definitely return
Visited for a 40th birthday.food slow to come out.ordered lce creams told someone had left fridge door open and all the ice cream had melted.ordered coffees told machine had broke..staff not very friendly.no menus had to order from a takeaway menu.
Who new this was the team that bought us the legendary Dilshad in Selly Oak !! Anyway, this place had a great vibe .. busy, nice atmosphere, good service and decent prices. Balti was good as were all curry choices. No complaints here !!

A group of 10 of us went to this restaurant on a Friday night. They seated us at a great table and the food was fantastic. The service and staff were also wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
