We have been quite a few times, always been fine as a buffet goes, but didnt enjoy last visit the lady behind the bar was lovely as usual but when we got our breakfast the toast was very hard as you can expect under the lamp so my husband as the waitress if we could get some fresh toast she replied is there none there my husband said yes but its very hard her reply was ive just filled it up and walked off saying under her breath i cant just keep bringing fresh so we sat down and the chef came up to check the food and changed nearly 75% of food and put fresh the waitress didnt need to be rude we well try again but wont return if we have a rude experience again

We absolutely love it at The New Wellington, the carvery is amazing and always cooked to perfection plus really good value. I made a reservation online for 5.02.22, but when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. I was really disappointed that the online booking system was still active despite the closure. The beef baguette and rotisserie chicken were absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning next week. It was definitely worth the money. The staff members who served us were lovely.
Everytime I go there its closed for kitchen work, give up I'd rather just go to Toby carvery, dont see why the kitchen needs doing every few days it's unbelievable, do it when your closed
This restaurant is more of a cozy carvery rather than a large, commercial one. It may be smaller in size compared to others, but it benefits from a personal touch.
