Can't fault the food at the Noose, always delicious and good value for money. Unfortunately the service tonight put a real downer on our visit. Despite being one of only 2 tables eating in the whole place we were left sitting waiting for service on multiple occasions. No menus for around 30 minutes when we arrived, our order wasn't put through to kitchen once we placed it although the staff were apologetic for that. Despite asking for the dessert menu no one came back to see if we actually wanted to order or came back with the water we'd requested, meanwhile the staff were having a laugh behind the bar. My friends and I went to the Noose and Monkey for dinner before heading to HMT on a Saturday night. We made a booking online and were happy to see that it was bustling even though it was still early in the evening, creating a lively atmosphere. Despite the crowd, we were promptly and efficiently served by friendly staff. The food was fantastic, with a wonderful variety of appetizers (which we had as starters). The nacho chicken burger was particularly delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Booked last minute on the recommendation of my daughter. Now kicking myself as I have waled past this place a hundred times and never gone in. Food was exceptional, service, attentive, but not in your face. Shetland mussels perfectly cooked, probably the best ever, fish and THE burger **** mary) simply amazing. Cocktails...dont ask, out of this world. Counting down the minutes to try the brunch menu tomorrow...
We were searching for dinner at 8:00 pm last night. Since it was a Monday, the restaurant wasn't very busy. However, we were warmly welcomed. The pub served delicious and satisfying meals, which was exactly what we were looking for. The service was outstanding. Although we had only been in for a drink once before, we will definitely be returning soon.

To be fair, we were a bit unsure looking at outside, but boy, were we proved wrong!! Staff were so friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely amazing!! Mussels and haggis for starter, then **** Mary burger and Rorie pie for mains were to die for!!!!! Huge portions of amazing food!!! . Definitely be back!
Great for Sunday lunch.. we didn't go for the roast though the neighbouring table looked very happy with theirs. We shared some Nachos for starters and could have finished there..the mains Chicken Fillets and **** Mary burger were braw... drinks were great value too.. super service... Well worth a visit...
Good pub food in a nice vibe pub . Staff were super friendly and helpful. Plentiful portions . Burgers homemade and huge ! Only criticisms. Toilets need attention and the lack of maintenance of the external appearance of this premises was initially off putting
I had a great experience at the restaurant, the food and atmosphere were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the homemade chicken haggis pie. I think having a couple of draft ales would enhance the overall experience.

A great night out despite the hiccup of our order not making it to the kitchen. Staff very apologetic and food soon appeared after a bit of prompting… food amazing and a great atmosphere.
