A good experience. Staff were friendly if needing a bit of calling over didn’t offer service. Warm up near the kitchens looked cosy. We ordered the Sunday roast lamb. Overall it was great but I tried my partners portion and we agreed way too many sweet things, Honey glazed etc. The lamb was nice the roast potato’s were a marvel and truly spectacular. I wasn’t eating but the amount of prep for the roasties it made me try the hand cut chips. The chips were excellent. The amount of crispy chips with perfectly cooked chips, great. Didn’t like the aioli that it came with being a bit sour with the garlic. Next time I would go with mayonnaise and Belgian style. Would come back again. But too many s...
