On a recent visit to Missoula my friends and I ate at the Notorious P.I.G. It was fabulous! We ordered a platter to split between four people. Our two favorites were the pulled pork and the barbecue chicken. The fire and ice pickles were wonderful- sweet, spicy, and crunchy. The potato salad, cole slaw, and the mac-n-cheese were very nice. All of the sauces were good and we liked that we could add our own sauce as needed. Lastly, the amount of food on the platter was more than enough for four people and we ended up taking some food home.
This restaurant is a beloved staple in Missoula known for its BBQ, and it is also arguably one of the best in the western United States. The brisket is excellent, the Burnt Ends are unparalleled, and the turkey is the best I have ever tasted. Don't miss out on their potato salad and macaroni and cheese. They also offer limited-time menu items, so be sure to follow them on social media. Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast or not, a visit to this restaurant is a must at least once in your lifetime.
this was some of the best bbq i have ever had. we ordered a half rack combo with brisket, baked beans, and potato salad. all four things were absolutely delicious. i really want to come back to try the mac n cheese, cole slaw, and burnt ends. i really loved that each table had a multitude of amazing sauces to pair with the meats and the employees were very friendly and helpful. i cannot wait to come back when im missoula.
We recently organized a group lunch for takeout at this restaurant. The ordering process was simple and the pickup went smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, and everyone in the group was pleased with their meal choices. We definitely plan on ordering from here again in the future. I absolutely adored the cornbread at this restaurant! The brisket was amazing and the potato salad was delicious as well. However, the cornbread was the standout for me with its little kernels of joy scattered throughout. It was moist and packed with flavor. This BBQ is definitely some of the best I've ever tried.
This place is fantastic and the food and service is amazing. I understand they run out of dishes bc it is fresh meat, fresh made (this isn't McDonald's, losers) but that rarely happens. Never a disappointment. Love you guys.
This location is gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and welcoming! Our food came out incredibly quickly and was delicious (as notorious pig always is). I love the downtown location but this spot is my new go to!
