I don't live in Worcestershire however I had to arrange a wake following the funeral of my mother in law. The owner from the outset of the initial phone call was amazing and very helpful. On the day the food and service was first class...nothing was too much trouble. If I lived closer I would definitely spend time in this establishment. They have worked hard in lockdown to breathe new life into this pub. I hope they get the support they deserve. Good luck to you all
Visited a while back. Thought it was a lovely looking pub, nice interior, good food just a shame for the atmospheric feel of the place. It just lacked atmosphere, the bar staff either seemed lost in their own thoughts or were grumpy looking, a very...regimental feel to how it is run. It lacks enthusiasm, won't hurry back any time soon.
yesterday we visited the chestnut tree and had one of the best sunday roasts I ever had. totally recommend the Sharing plate that has slices of roasted beef, truthahn and gammon with all circumcisions. everything was homemade and all staff are so...attentively will definitely be revisiting

beautiful cozy pub with really friendly staff! we were a few times and the food was top-notch! would recommend the burger! my friend has eaten many burgers in many restaurants and this is definitely one of the best! they also have a pool table, darts and music! definitely worth visiting!

Third visit to this lovely historic village pub with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Really appreciate the welcome, service and home made food. Menu offers a good choice and portions are just right.
