The Old Hall pub boasts charming original features and offers outdoor seating areas. It is a well-presented establishment with friendly staff providing excellent service and hospitality. Families will appreciate the children's outdoor play area. There is ample parking and convenient access to bus services to Heysham Towers, as well as nearby medical centers, sports facilities, and churches. They serve snacks in the afternoon and have a great selection of ales and wines available.
This charming pub was originally built in 1550 and completed in the 1590s. It has been operating as a public house since the 1950s. I had the pleasure of being the manager there from January 1994 to August 2002. It’s a fantastic place to visit, rich in history. It was originally named Wren Hall and was once owned by Mitchell's of Lancaster, though I'm not sure who owns it now. It makes for a great stop whether you're heading to or coming back from the Isle of Man.
Charming historic pub located in the heart of Heysham, featuring exceptionally friendly staff and guests. It's perfect for a family meal, as there's a play park for the little ones. It's also a fantastic spot for a casual outing with friends or a date night, complete with live entertainment on weekends and a laid-back atmosphere. Highly recommended!
A friendly member of staff helped make our visit tolerable but the place is a sad mess. For a historic and previously iconic venue, it is regrettable that it's been allowed to become so dilapidated. The restaurant definitely needs a fresh coat of paint and a new interior design. It has the potential to be a beautiful pub, but as it stands now, it's quite disappointing. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
Lovely quaint pub historic fireplaces inside ,pity no food could do with a spring clean outside to get the punters in but very very friendly staff and they welcome dogs total bonus.
