Went for Christmas Day Lunch, ordered from the set menu which was sent out a month in advance so they could gauge quantities. The overall lunch was brilliant everyone loved what they ordered. The staff were fantastic, happy and helpfull even though they were missing thier own Christmas day. All in all its the second year we have had Christmas Lunch here and will definitley return next year. Thank you for making it a great day.
We celebrated my Mother's 100th birthday here with a Sunday lunch for 19 family members. Excellent food, lovely ambience and good friendly service from the staff. We had the private area at the back, which was ideal for a family group. The owners were very helpful in setting up the event and were a pleasure to deal with. Everything went smoothly and we had a very enjoyable time. Would definitely recommend.
I hadn't been to the Old Hatchet for 40+ years as I'd moved away from the area but decided to go for Sunday Lunch with my family. We had a great lunch, excellent food and service. The staff were friendly, professional and very attentive. The bonus was that the pub was as good as I remembered it. We will definitely be going again.
Came back for Christmas Day Lunch, and for the second year running we were not disapointed, fantastic service although the staff had given up thier own Christmas Days. This is our third visit to this pub and restaurant over the last two months, 4 of us. The food is delicious and the lunch menu is a very good deal. We have tried many different meals and all plates cleared, so no waste. The staff are very helpful and welcoming.
Staff are lovely. The Cex worker behind the bar it top g. The Girls are alright. Ones grumpy all the time. Do a good Guinness and Sunday Roast. Need to stay open past 9 on a Monday.
Sunday Lunch on the last day of the year, food was good and plentiful. few people in today so it was all a bit quiet but still a good venue for food and a drink or two.
