I brought my dog to visit my girlfriend, who is part of the cabin crew, during her layover at Gatwick. What an amazing surprise! We were just looking for a place to grab a bite to eat where our dog wouldn't feel out of place. This restaurant was the perfect fit—such a charming spot, meticulously maintained with great attention to detail. The gastro food was delightful; it wasn't the best I've ever had, but certainly far from the worst. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, especially for the North. This is a lovely pub featuring a spacious beer garden and superb dining options. There is plenty of parking available, and the staff are excellent, providing a warm and friendly welcome. I can’t find anything to fault about this place.
I had another wonderful evening at The Old House for my mum's surprise birthday celebration. Stephen was, as always, fantastic and contributed to making it a true party! The food was excellent, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food, fantastic service the only downside was the music a little too loud, but it was turned down when asked!! Pricing is reasonable for the quality and presentation of the food. Would definitely recommend a visit!!
