Been here a few times each time really good experience, this time was a bit of let down as meals were 'thrown together ' no attention to detail, standard 'pub grub ' and way over priced steak very poor one over, one under and fatty and over priced. Rule of thumb to not send back, the garlic butter sauce was just a cream, no garlic did send that back. Probably won 't visit again sadly, was brilliant a few months ago. As a previously experienced 'gastro pub ' experience as a bench mark, we expected a few finer details in plating and menu options.
Did not food there, but a 3 course meal is around £27.50 very nice place, it does have a garden outside, looks good place for the summer. The staff are very polite, and have 2 non alcoholic drinks soft drinks and good selection of beers. Comfy chairs to sit on makes you relax and enjoy the apmospher
My brother and I wanted to celebrate our good news and The Thatch was our number one choice. Always have an excellent meal and service here, tonight was no exception. Thank you for making our celebration extra special
Very accommodating to needs. Had vegan options all of which were delicious. Loved the starter, all my favourite things. Great vegan roast. And a vegan dessert option of elderflower sorbet or ice cream.

We had a 3 course set meal and it was worth every penny. The fishcake was a bit dry for my preference but the starters and desserts made up for it. Would definitely come back to this cosy pub again.
We had a fantastic experience, my wife and I are non meat eaters and my cousins are both foodies we were all catered for. The food the staff and the place itself were excellent.
Booked my family in for a Sunday lunch/birthday meal. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Efficient service and excellent food. Good choice of real ales and a great interior.
Had lunch there food was great, lovely old pub. My wife and I hadn't finished and were saying we will visit again.
