The service at this restaurant is incredibly poor. We waited 15 minutes before anyone came to take our order, and then it took over 40 minutes for our food (a burger and a sandwich) to arrive. If they can't serve customers efficiently, they shouldn't be so overcrowded. This was our first visit to Lake George, and it will certainly be our last to this establishment. Additionally, I would advise against ordering the old fashioned cocktail, as it was disappointing.
My wife insisted we try this place, and I’m really glad she did—it was fantastic! I ordered the BBQ chicken sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. They generous portions too. The waitress suggested the French onion soup, and it was truly life-changing. I would definitely return and recommend it to all my friends. The staff were very friendly, although my only complaint is that the lighting was quite dim.
This delightful rustic restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere that I truly enjoyed. The ambiance is delightful, featuring a lovely fireplace and a nice indoor-outdoor feel. The food was fantastic, particularly the mozzarella sticks and French fries. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the area.
This cheeseburger was truly the best I’ve ever had! It definitely makes my top 3 favorite cheeseburgers list. I highly recommend it and give it a perfect 5 stars across the board. This was our first time dining at this restaurant. The staff was personable and friendly, demonstrating a clear expertise in their work. The traditional Adirondack decor enhanced the overall ambiance. The food was outstanding as well. We will certainly be back in the future.
The food is delicious overall! However, the BLT sandwich was disappointing, as there wasn't much bacon in it. That said, everything else was freshly prepared and well made! Here are some photos of our lunch.
It's like a Cheers-type atmosphere here; everyone feels like a friend, even if it's your first visit. My favorite items on the menu are the homemade potato chips, BLTs, and chicken wings.
