I booked for a party of 18 last Sunday. When we arrived they had squeezed us onto tables so small that we only managed because one person was unwell (so didn’t turn up) and after we asked them to bring another chair to put on the end of the table as there was just no way six of us would fit into the space provided. As they serve Sunday lunch on a Sunday we did not pre-order. To save the challenge of sorting the bill I asked if they would take orders for families. Great spot for lunch. Chicken tikka sandwich was enormous, and the cheese and ham toastie was generously filled. Lunch was only marred by a couple complaining that the menu had changed and did not include what they had come in for. For clarity, this is stated on the website, as it's a seasonal menu. The full current menu is also posted by the front door, and there's plenty to choose from. But, this was all handled so well by the wait staff and manager, with patience and understanding. Lovely staff, genuinely dog friendly pub, and a nice pint. We'll see you again when we're next in Witney!
best vegan pizza in Westoxfordshire (dbh one of the best vegan pizzas ive had in the land and I traveled for the work so ive was up and down the land) if they say 30 minutes delivery they mean it! always within 30 minutes ive ordered quite a few times and had never had any problem with delivery. would come back to any vegan/vegetarian as they are the best. (i cant comment on one of the fleshy pizzas but for vegan 10/10)
best pizza I had for a long time. go here regularly and absolutely love the pizza, fantastic service and a good selection of pages. the kickers are very sharp in contrast to kickers from a well-known chain. the only thing I don't like is that they don't seem open now 4 o'clock, so I can't get a certain pizza deal. other than that would highly recommend.

Food excellent, customer service excellent, went above and beyond. Great value. The only thing that we were a bit disappointed with is that we asked for a little extra gravy, which we got in a very small jug. Didn’t expect to be charged extra for this on the bill!! We think it’s a little mean.
First time in here. Took a chance to get a table for Sunday Lunch. Firstly, very decent pint of Guinness. 5 star Roast Beef lunch. Top class Yorkshire pudding. Staff very polite and slick. Definitely worth a visit. 27/06/24. Still serving the best Guinness in Witney.
A quick half on passing through, so not qualified to comment on the food, suffice to say it was very busy for a Tuesday evening... Footy on in the garden, covered by a large appropriate awning. Quirky building/labyrinth with bags of character.
Loved Sunday lunch! Busy bustling pub. Friendly welcoming. For a drink or light lunch great too !! Will be back !

Good value for money when you apply any deal, tasty, sometimes they forget your sauce. Forgivable for the taste
