This charming family-owned restaurant has a cozy, welcoming vibe as soon as you step inside. The menu is displayed prominently on the board, and you simply place your order at the counter. They provide you with a buzzer to alert you when your meal is ready for pickup. The food is genuinely authentic Greek cuisine, offering everything from gyros to souvlakis.
Hearty, fresh, and delicious! You place your order at the counter, then find a seat and prepare for a freshly made meal. The menu includes sandwiches, pasta, soups, chili, salads, skewers, hamburgers, and hotdogs, along with a wide selection of unique and tasty sides. The prices are very reasonable, drink refills are complimentary, and the dining area is clean and comfortable. With so many options, you could easily eat here every day, and the variety makes it a fantastic change from the usual dining experience.

This is my favorite restaurant in Winston! We dine here at least 3-4 times a month since I have doctoral appointments nearby, and we always have a great experience. The breakfast is delicious – some of the best I've had. They offer large salads, tasty gyros, and their zucchini fries are to die for! Plus, their tea is excellent!
The Olive Tree is a Winston-Salem institution with consistently exceptional cuisine! Their Mediterranean offerings are amazing and we love to stop in for a quick breakfast.
