My family was excited on 6/19/21 To have found a kosher deli in Metuchen. I called to check on their hours… open to 8pm. Arrived T 5:55 On walking in was first red flag. Hot. Seated by thermostat set at 83. Only 4 tables. One with a party of 4. RED FLAG 2. Server brings a carafe of tepid water with 4 small ice cubes after seated 20 min. Then told while ordering. No corned beef. a kosher deli). Then how about matzo ball soups. No soups tonight either. Looking at menu we ARE prepared to pay premium prices for premium food. And order turkey/pastrimi sandwichs. Priced $17. Lamb burger $20. Then we wait. Over 75 min asking when and being told “soon”. More warm water with the token ice cube. Food...
excellent food and service. I was very impressed by nicole and galit when I ordered orchid to offer a event on top golf. nicole took her time with me to create a menu and delivered galit and to set up eating without problems! I highly recommend this facility. thanks nicole and galit!
The best place to eat in town, county, and state! Highly recommended by many! If I have food wish before I die It’d be eating any meal from this place! I hope they will expand the restaurant, too many people love eating there and I don’t think there’s enough space for us all ?.
Needed a quick kosher meal to bring to my high school reunion lunch. This place is great! Very accommodating, clean, and the bowl of soup i had while waiting my sandwich was fine. First time but I will remember The Orchid.

if they're not here yet, what's the problem? the orchideen rocks! the chef made a custom sushi dish that amazes me. when they come through the opposite, eat here is one.
it has tried several times to apply for a pickup and they never answer. not sure how they are open.
somewhere in the world, I had the best coshesy sloppy Joe sandwich. definitiw an all-round worth!
