I wore up without reservation and they kindly equipped me with a timeline that was great. I started with the sweet choir and chicken soup that was good, but nothing exciting. I had a last minute change of heart after I saw the char sui on the menu and added the fried mushroom rice. the tear should have cloged in him and for a five it should have, not. it was also a little oily. my head came with steamed brokkoli, which was unfortunately cold. the char sui had too much five seasoned for me and it overwhelmed every other taste. it wasn't like char sui. I finished all my food so it's decent, maybe my expectations were high, I would try it again. updated by previous review on 2022-09-15
i wish i lived in york to eat here all the time. The service was so fast and the food was one of the most delicious vegan experiences I’ve ever had. The vegan king prawn in sweet and sour was the standout for me, the special fried rice was my partners favourite. I could not fault anything i tried at all. I 100% recommend this place if you are vegan or no. The workers were very kind too and gave me a little free pudding with a candle in it as it was my birthday
We’d never been to a fully vegan Chinese restaurant before, it was enjoyable to choose freely on the menu. Normally I don’t go for substitute meats but this time tried pork cha sui, the flavor was tasty and close to what you’d expect from the meat version. Tofu and vegetable dishes were lovely, noodles slightly heavy on the soya sauce for my liking. Overall a delicious meal, pleasant environment, quick friendly service, convenient location.
The food here is amazing, I’ve only been twice and need to come again! Crispy ‘beef’ was amazing when they still had it on the menu (unsure about now), but everything I’ve tried has been delicious! Would recommend visiting during York Restaurant Week if they participate again, they had a full set menu for an amazing price.

I set myself up without reservation and they were able to find a table for me, although the place is quite full, it is probably worth a booking if they can. I had the sweetcorn soup and then the lemon chicken. both were very nice, especially the lemon chicken. If I had lived here, I would be a father.
would definitely recommend for Chinese food lovers! I had the calamari to begin and then a tofu dish with noodles for my pornstar. both tasty also the pancakes that were very tasty and probably my favorite thing
Probably one of the best restaurants I've visited. The staff are wonderfully attentive there's a nice atmosphere. The food is top tier.
