The Out-Back Restaurant & Lounge

After reading some negative reviews we decided to give this place a try. It's not in a dingy basement, it's located in the back of a building. We did not see any problems with the parking lot and if you do you shouldn't be driving. There is a nice little patio at the entrance with about 4 or 5 tables with umbrellas. The place is fairly large inside with plenty of tables. The lighting is not the brightest but it was perfectly fine. We both had the 9 oz top sirloin with choice of potato and vegetables for $14.99(can't beat that price). The steak was perfectly done, the veggies were good too but the potato was slightly overcooked but fine. Along with $5.00 pints we had a great meal. Our waitres...

My husband and I thought we had found an Outback steakhouse and got super excited, only when we pulled back in to the parking lot we realized we should have read the sign a bit closer. It is not the outback it is just located on the back side of the building. What a diss appointment. Went inside, the vibe just wasn't for us so we turned and left. Has an awkward parking lot and odd location of entrance. I think this place would do better business in a different location, somewhere bright and accessible.

Stopped in here for dinner while charging the Tesla. Pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and menu. It is out back of a sleep country and listed as a restaurant and lounge so thought it would be very much like a sportsbar/pub. We had three young children and our twenty year old daughter with us. Great food selection. I had rainbow trout and escargot, my husband had a T-bone steak which was a little overdone. Kids loved their meals and the prices were reasonable. Great service too!

Average food. Poor service. The ditzy skinny server (with tattoos) needs a lesson in food service. When a customer refuses another drink and dessert.........it means bring the bill! She does not understand this concept. I saw two other groups ask for the bill.Time to bring food to table was also very very slow. i will not be back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

The service and the food quality was exceptional. I came in late after work around 11:30pm and they still cooked me a great meal. Best steak in woodstock. i highly recommend this place compared to any of the franchise restaurants in town, it blows them out of the water. It is a local restaurant with great service and atmosphere.

Great restaurant in a crappy location super friendly owner, ice cold Alexander Keith's on tap and a steak that would be rated 5* even in Alberta (where we know our steaks! <br/ <br/ Make the effort to find this place if you want a great locally owned alternative to the chain eatery's. You'll be happy you did.

We had a delicious meal in this place located behind the mattress store next to our hotel. My wife had the beef tenderloin and I had Chicken Parmesan and both were very good and presented nicely. Food is cooked to order and is excellent

The food was delicious...perhaps needs more like a happy decoration or more lighting inside...from the outside looks like it as closed or something...but like I said the food was great I really enjoyed.... Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Horrible food, don't come here. Good service. All food was frozen and not even good frozen. Greasy and over cooked. Beer and water was cold.

Nice little spot Good steaks and local drafts They will let you try them if you aren't sure what you want.
