Let me put it like this; it was genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. For paying over $140 a night the continental breakfast was a coffee jug placed out in the restaurant bar. No, like literally that was the continental breakfast. Terrible service as well. The room was infested with ants! I had ants still crawling out my MacBook on the way back home. Workers also weren’t helpful and often left you with judgemental looks as you walk past them. Don’t come here unless you’re looking for a bad experience overpriced for a definitely overdue “4-star” hotel inspection. Not worth the price nor the stresses of the poor hotel and restaurant management here.
panama hotel rooms are much overpriced when they are common areas dirty, the rooms are chic and cold, windows that do not close, bad heating, bad sanitary, little or no hot water, small rooms, community baths, a common coffee machine small fridge, broken blinds, bad wlan, firecode violations, and the possibility to be overloaded or torn off. when I consider what I got, and what I paid; I feel demolished. it's your money. for the same money they can stay in almost any local hotel and get much more for their money.
This hotel used to be quite charming, but now it's seedy and run down. The restaurant is closed, the hotel is literally deserted as management has disappeared and the phone number supplied should you need some assistance is never answered and their voice mail is full. It's creepy and empty and it should be illegal to run a hotel of this size without anyone present. We couldn't get the ceiling fan to turn off, couldn't find anyone to ask help and finally left in frustration.
the panama hotel is a small jewel hidden in the city of san rafael, about they feel like home. the customer support of all employees is immaculate, never intrusive, always helpful. very clean, the rooms are fascinating, each with another thema. the amazing decoration, whimsicity, personal photos of the original owners in the lobby and breakfast room make it all unique together. I highly recommend it is a trip within a trip. difficult to leave it. I'll be back.

I stayed for two nights and overall I loved it. The room I stayed in didn't have a bathroom, but there were two bathrooms outside of the rooms with showers. There were sitting areas with little coffee pots and tea bags, it was adorable. The rooms are slightly small, I didn't mind it, and the balconies give you a darling view. It's a quaint, cozy hotel.
What a neat little place! Clean, cute little guesthouse/hotel with good shower pressure. We stayed in the smallest room(cheapest room), but it was just right for our passing through town. I would come here again for sure. I feel like it's a place moms would love.
*SCAM * They charged my credit card unlawfully. I tried to cancel my reservation for two weeks. No response to emails. No one answers the phone and the voicemailbox is full.
beautiful small hotel in the inner city of san rafael. the breakfast was not much too frying, but otherwise our stay was pleasant.

fabulous personal, excellent breakfast buffet, the most comfortable beds and I would stay here again and again!
Beautiful room, support service was outstanding but I could NOT locate a manager when needed.
