Absolutely fabulous the food was delicious and good portion and delicious the beer and wine was a good quality the service was with a smile and polite we didn’t wait at the bar or for our food. Gorgeous old style pub. Food was excellent, and showed a lot of care and thought had gone into it. Beer battered haddock was fresh, battered light and tasty. The chips were next-level, like chips used to be before the modern American style messed things up. And the beef shin pie with mash was very homey, delicious.

Great stop over after muddy walk along the river banks. Patio beer garden on sunny Autumn day with two wet dogs and 4 drinkers was ideal. Sunday lunch was fabulous. Can even have dogs in the stone floor bar, result. Good choice of draft beers and great bar team. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
