My husband and I booked a last minute overnight stay, with the intention of visiting some local pubs in Peebles. We booked a signature double room, breakfast included, for £215. All the staff members we spoke to were polite and friendly. The room itself was very big and was great to have lots of space. The bathroom was also spacious, and nicely decorated. There were a few things that could be improved: There was no water in the room. Even a bottle of tap water would have been great for during the night. There was also no milk for coffee/tea in the room. These things I thought were standard in hotels, so I was surprised. The coffee machine did not look like it had been cleaned and the fridge...

Popped in for tea and cake. Lovely cup of tea , delicious piece of clementine sponge. Very nice young man served us and the toilets were immaculate. Highly recommend.
