I asked a lot of the Park View 16 guests with various dietary needs, kids and a dog but the pub absolutely nailed it. All emails were answered promptly and so helpfully by the lovely Kellie, and we were able to pre order our meals to be served at a certain time. The table was set well in advance in the downstairs bar and the staff were attentive and very friendly. We were made very welcome and we had the room to ourselves. No complaints about the food either all very decent portions too. Particular favourites were the plant burger and the fried chicken with chilli honey, though all plates were cleared. 0 Truly awful Booked for 3.15. Stuck on a table with high chairs where my elderly mum and aunty could barely get on and off the chairs. Asked to move to normal table via the manager who greeted us with face like thunder, told us that there was no table available … 3 mins later there was 2??? So we moved downstairs and looked on the menu and could not order the roast dinner we came for on the app. I spoke to a barman behind the bar and he smirked at me and said by 3.30 we are done with roasts!! I really can’t get my head around that a large pub on a Sunday that people come for roast dinner are completely out of everything by 3pm?! The birthday celebration meal at this restaurant was very disappointing. The spiced chickpea salad with added chicken was lacking in flavor, with too few chickpeas and overly pieces of dry frisée lettuce. The chargrilled chicken was also dry and unseasoned. The duck salad was equally unimpressive, with soggy watercress, minimal vegetables, and watery duck. The creme brulee dessert was also underwhelming, with a small amount of egg-like custard and an overcooked biscuit. Overall, the meal was expensive and did not meet expectations. The kitchen staff and managers should try their own food, as other nearby pubs offer a much higher standard of cuisine.
We booked the lower ground floor of the Park View pub for my partner's birthday party. It was a great party! James managed the bar the whole evening perfectly we can't sing his praises highly enough. The room has its own bar outside area a very nice ambience. Many guests praised the buffet. From the booking, through to sorting the details of the buffet drinks music with Kelly then James's superb sensitive management of the evening we were left feeling very happy that we had chosen the Park View

We had an excellent Sunday lunch at Park View, which is clearly packed with locals but also attracts custom from outside the area. Spacious, yet with an old pub feel it had significant family parties enjoying their Sunday lunch there and all in a really convivial atmosphere. My only gripe was ordering via QR code at the table. In the end, fed up, I actually went to the bar and ordered there instead. Very friendly service, drinks slightly on the steepish side but food, first class.
This restaurant is essentially our neighborhood pub. We come here for drinks, but we also frequently dine here. The staff is delightful. They offer a wide selection of drinks and there is usually ample seating available. The restaurant has a fantastic spacious outdoor area on multiple levels and is dog-friendly. You can enjoy a full meal or opt for small plates. Overall, it's a very pleasant pub.
I loved this pub with such a large space and a magnificent beer garden, which is divided into several levels, which makes it a more intimate and comfy place. I also like that it is a little away from the town centre and noise, thus becoming a small oasis
Had the most loveliest Mothers day lunch here. My Son treated me I wasn’t feeling like a huge roast so we opted for lots of small dishes. Delicious food and just enough for the two of us. The staff were really nice and will defiantly be coming back :

I loved this pub. Delicious food and great service! Definitely coming back. Don’t miss the cauliflower starter and the crispy squid. I had a burger as well which was super tasty and juicy.
The pub has a nice and relaxed atmosphere. My friend and I both had the cheese burger; it was nice …. Nothing special but nice. I would definitely visit again .
