We didn't get drinks or a menu 45 minutes after being seated but think it was an honest mistake. But then we didn't get our drinks for another 10 minutes because the barrels were being changed, but no one told us so I had to ask. Then our starter came with our main... However, this review still gets a solid 4 stars. The waitress was lovely, the venue is pleasant and the food was devine! Personally went for the slow roasted belly of pork which was worth every penny!
visited here for lunch after a nice walk in the leith hill only 5 minutes away last week. absolutely stunning land pub, decor is beautiful, eating delicious and personal friendly. there is a large seating area in the interior, an outside area and a sunny outside area. had a burger and a pint in the sun and it was beautiful. many parking spaces at the front and back.wish that was our local pub! highly recommended!
We had a really great experience at The Parrot this weekend. Even though it was busy it was really cosy and all the staff were very welcoming! The food was fantastic, chef has put together a really great menu which exceeded our expectations! We’ll definitely be recommending The Parrot and returning soon. eating was absolutely **** deltaius. had no mouthwater piece marinated bark meat with an salad in a long time! thanks! also the environment was beautifully made. can be hard to get a place as a walk-in, but it should be possible to get a place at the bar. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
absolutely love this beautiful country pub! has the perfect mix of traditional and modern elements, is cozy and has amazing employees. we had no full meal, but the snacks and the suppe we had were delicious! we will definitely come back.
