This bakery is the worse on baking cakes! I preordered a birthday cake for my 3 year old daughter in the “masha and the bear” theme . Send them a picture and selected the vanilla and chocolate flavor. When I went to pick up the cake what I received was a cake not even close to the picture I sent them. I then asked the lady that gave me the cake, what happened to the flowers!? The picture had flowers. The lady said, we take 3 days to do them, and i had told the lady who took my order that I wanted them in the same icing. She then said, we take the same time with that too. I was shocked! And extremely upset because I was not told that they didn’t have any one working there that could put flowe...
When I was little my dad used to bring home this pastry called mille-feuille (napoleon). The bakery my dad purchased it from closed when I was about 11 so I have not had it since. Well when I walked into this bakery today, there it was....the mille-feuille in all its glory!! They only had two pieces left so I took them both home to surprise my mom with a piece. It was even more delicious than I remember. If you are a pastry lover, the mille-feuille is a must have!Included in the picture are 2 slices of Napoleon and 2 slices of the chocolate mousse cake.
The consistently best bakery in the area. The pastries are fresh and delicious, and the staff is great. Reasonable prices and strong coffee. My favorite thing about this bakery is that they have so many savory pastries the spinach and feta croissants are out of this world. I make a stop here every time I'm in Olney.
I'm returning customer and always enjoy coming back here. However, today's experience is the worst. Just because I request very simple thing literally it takes them less than 1 min to fix the issue) one of the employees disrespects me in front of other customers. I love coming here! The cakes are delicious and moist as well as the fruit tarts and macarons. The baker so friendly and accommodating. He made us a beautiful birthday cake despite the short notice.
The restaurant offers a wonderful selection and outstanding customer service. Their mango mousse cake is an excellent choice for celebrations.
