This is the original pub owned by Hook Norton Brewery. Named after a pear tree growing up the wall. The second pear tree was planted in the 1960s. Hence two pear trees today. The beer as you would expect is top notch. Expected it to be a flagship establishment as the original Hook Norton Brewery pub especially with its location close to the brewery, but it's not.
We stayed at the Pear tree inn for one night as we were visiting Hooky for the brewery tour and Heythrop for the zoo garden. Such a traditional honey pub and stay and run by lovely people. The room was great, spacious and had all the things you would need, the bed was lovely! Best night sleep I've had in a while. We would gladly visit again
The pub has a great atmosphere and is also the tap for Hook Norton Brewery. The beer is always good quality and the large beer garden is a nice place to relax. The pub food is also delicious.
The rooms at this restaurant are excellent - clean, spacious, and just a 2-minute walk from a brewery. The location is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Best pub in hook norton good prices and top class staff...forget the other pubs in the area and make this your local...James and Lita from preston.
The cozy pub had a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly, but it was disappointing that they were not serving any food.
Cracking local pub with a local vibe, great place to meet people over a pint. Great beer selection too, of course!!

"Visited for lunch today after a tour of Hook Norton Brewery food was excellent and lovely friendly service. We were celebrating a friends 60th and they kindly decorated a plate with chocolate Happy Birthday and put a candle in his dessert. Would highly recommend!"
