We ordered roast beef, roast chicken, nut roast, and a Butterfly chicken burger at this restaurant. All of our meals were exceptional with a 5-star rating. The service was also outstanding, as we were promptly given extra gravy and all the sauces we desired. Despite it being a busy Sunday, the staff quickly found us a table. We were very pleased with the experience and enjoyed watching football/rugby with drinks available at the bar. We will definitely be returning in the future.
I had a great experience dining at this restaurant last year, so I decided to come back tonight with my partner. We both ordered the loaded burger and were impressed with the quality for the price. The burger was well cooked with a variety of delicious flavors. The service from the dark haired waitress was exceptional as she found us a table and even offered us a complimentary dessert. Overall, it was a wonderful meal and we were not disappointed.
My friends and I went to Penny for drinks one evening. The new manager, Harry, was running the whole floor by himself! He was extremely polite and attentive, even though he was the only staff member working. He handled some disruptive customers perfectly. We had a fantastic time at Penny and I would highly recommend it to all of my friends.
Your employee Harry has been excellent. It was his first day, and he was dealing with a heavy amount of customers during the second COVID spike. He showed respect to everyone and worked the whole floor on his own. Harry, you're a legend mate, all the best with your new job!
the sunday roast menu is fantastic. it enjoyed our dinner very much. the dinner was more than just bark and yorkshire, some smart taste and very delicate meat. to complete it, large customer service. a real 5 stars pub.
Great and cozy pub serving delicious food. Sunday roast was really good. Nice selection of beers on tap. Friendly staff taking good care of customers. The pub is dog friendly. Would happily return!!
on Sunday they fry on an impromptu idea! brilliant service and amazing eating, definitiw it worth. £12.95 a cure or £15.95 two cures and worth every penny (heh heh). I'm back!
great place to hang around with friends. it is a sportable with good ambiente and great selection of drinks. also come here from 5-8pm coz his happy hour!
