breakfast with the bf. Bacon/Cheese omelette meal and classic breakfast with a side of the hollandaise was ordered. omelette was 4 eggs, not mentioned in the menu and was quite large. a little over boiled to my taste and the speck was all at the fold. the cheese was above, instead of mixing with the speck. the classic breakfast was ok. Eier cooked to order and the panels that came with both were thin and incredibly delicious. hollandaise sauce was blande and toast was hardly roasted. if our server had checked for us with any regularity, a part of the meal would have been sent back. as it was, we saw him when he commanded us and when he brought our food. I've always liked the Granola bowl when I have been here for breakfast. But tonight we went for dinner. We had the special I can't remember the name of it but it involved pasta and shrimp. We both really enjoyed that, but it was the Tower of Cinn! That is why I am writing. The Tower of Cinn it was deep fried pieces yes, pieces of cinnamon bun with some caramel sauce and whip cream. I love the cinnamon buns at the Forks, but this one, definitely my new favourite. I plan on driving out to Oakbank for coffee and a Tower of Cinn at least once a month! The food was excellent, the service was impressive, and the prices were reasonable. I'll definitely return, especially since there are some intriguing options on the menu. We arrived near closing time, but the staff was very accommodating and didn’t rush us. The cheesecake was delicious and generously sized. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service.
I love eating here, there is a great variety and everything is very well done. the desserts should die, and the service is pretty good. I tried this place for breakfast during one of my road trip. I ordered the traditional eggs, bacon and hash browns with toast and it was good- huge serving! Their coffee was weak but refillable though. They have Wi-Fi service. Nice, quiet, fast and friendly service. Be back.
Great restaurant. Doug the owner works very hard to ensure you have a great experience. The peppercorn steak sandwich is amazing. Cheese cakes made in house are great as well. Amazing small town restaurant with an owner that's always there working so hard.!
Fantastic experience! We ordered two different dishes, and both were packed with excellent flavor. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and Laurie was a wonderful server. We will definitely be back!
