Alani was an incredible waitress! That being said,I'm 6'3 couldn't put my knees under the table. We ordered the fried pickle appetizer,I got the Cave Man Club with house fries, and my wife got soup 1/2 of a chicken salad sandwich unknowingly,an $8 piece of Key Lime Cheesecake. This restaurant in Abingdon is always one of our favorites. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the menu is extensive. The antique atmosphere adds to the overall experience. We highly recommend it for a dinner out. The price per person ranges from $30 to $50. Food and service are both rated 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere is rated 4 out of 5.
The bartender was not available, so the owner was taking orders. Our server reassured us to be patient as she was doing her best. Surprisingly, the drinks were excellent from a novice bartender! We tried the artichoke dip and BBQ chicken nachos which were both very affordable and some of the best dishes we have had in a while.
Food was delicious but the outdoor tables and chairs was ridiculously stupid and wably.
