The food at this restaurant is excellent, but unfortunately, the service and the attitude I experienced during my visit tonight were completely unwarranted. I arrived around 7:45 PM, just 15 minutes before closing, hoping to pick up my to-go order. The employee on duty was unwilling to let me collect my order and scolded me for mistakenly entering my phone number one digit off. It felt humiliating to be reprimanded like a child for such a minor error. Even after I apologized, I was met with further rudeness and eye rolls. Regrettably, I have to say that I won't be returning, as this isn't the first time I've encountered such behavior from this employee or witnessed them being discourteous to...
I LOVED my experience at this place. When I first walked in, I was not in a very good mood at all, but I was met with smiling faces who were also very energetic at the same time by Jay and Alana (I hope I spelled her name right . Jay took the time to explain all my options with a smile, even when I was taking a little time to decide on which sauce I wanted. The food was amazing and it was the best Poki bowl that I’ve had since I’ve been in Nashville. Their food is super fresh and clean tasting. Hands down I’ll visit this establishment again, especially when Jay and Alana are working. ?
Although the atmosphere was cute, the pricing and amount of food you get was pretty ridiculous. Paying $15 for a small bowl, where they literally count the amount of shrimp they add (the scoops are tiny). We had never been before and the staff members were not very friendly or helpful as we were first confused how it worked. It was also an additional $1.50 for avocado and $1.50 for seaweed salad. Without those components, the bowl would be very dry. Bringing my total for a small bowl with very little protein to $18 without tip.We will not be returning.
My wife is Japanese and said this was one of her favorite places ever. Also my dish was I listed everything for a bit savory, sweet, and spicy mix. First time ever having poki. The staff is very helpful explaining different flavors! They have some pre made bowls. I recommend the build your own! Salmon, and spicy tuna was fresh and delicious! The fried brussel sprouts and roasted garlic with the sauce it was stupid good! A bit pricey I feel you get what you pay for and then some. I did get a large bowl and some added in extras which may offset normal cost. Very delicious! Will definitely come again!
This used to be my go-to place for lunch, but my recent experience was disappointing. I received only 2 teaspoons of spicy tuna in my bowl, just 5 shrimp, and very few other ingredients, for which I was charged extra. After factoring in the delivery fees, the additional charges, and a tip, I ended up spending $32.18 for a half bowl of bland brown rice. I've learned my lesson—never again.
Food is always very delicious and reasonably priced. However, the employees there are often not very friendly and often seem to be in a rush to get you to leave. They also like to put their dining room chairs up and sweep an hour before closing and close their dining room way too early. Dining room should be open until closing, and I do not see this posted otherwise.
Food is always amazing, however today we witnessed an altercation between two employees one I have never seen in the establishment before having police involved with another worker. It wasn’t professional during business hours. Hope they handle personal work issues better and before opening hours in the near future.

This place is just not it anymore. I’ve been coming here once to twice a week since they first opened. The last few months they always have new employees and the food is not nearly as fresh as it used to be, but prices still continue to rise. The salmon is absolutely disgusting now.
