Very nice pub. Went for Sunday lunch at 2 o’clock. Got there early so sat in the pleasant garden with a drink first. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was very good but very expensive. I don’t mind paying for quality but this was a tad overpriced. I haven’t rated any pub Sunday lunch experience more than 8.5 out of 10 yet and The Phoenix gets 8.5 as well.
This is a beautiful restaurant inside out. Staff are first class and the food is even better. We love that it 's not your regular 'pub grub ' but if you 're looking for somewhere that 's a bit special this is your place. This is our second visit and will definitely be back.
I had the tasting menu, and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was exquisite, and the servers were both helpful and knowledgeable. The chef even came out a few times to explain the dishes, which was a nice touch.
We’ve eaten at The Phoenix twice now and not only is the food delicious and the staff wonderful, we feel it’s better value and taste than The Sportsman which is why we return for special occasions. Thankyou! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
