I have a new favorite pub. that is a rare thing, because this is not only a new pub for me, it is a new pub in the world. for a start, it does not look from the outside as it was bought by someone who made a lot of money and wanted to own a pub. No, honestly, it never looked like that. for the past year it looked like a construction site that the village asked for a fight. the outer is very average. no neon, no gold-shaped nonsense. only a simple and quite large sign for the picked gas house. the name had tied me up. that the name appeared before two weeks suddenly, had fascinated me. incapable of making the opening night, I took a walk earlier. This venue in down town Evercreech is a joy to find. Light and spacious with a friendly home feeling about it. There are many quirky and artistic corners and the turtle on the ceiling is a show stopper. Sit by the open log burner or on the red corner seat. The hosts are both friendly and welcoming and the opening days are buzzing with locals enjoying this new venue in the area. Well worth a visit.
a real pub with friendly reception and great atmosphere. beautiful place to stop for a few drinks and also cozy enough to stay all night! last night I have a large group of friends there for my henne do and we all had a wonderful time thanks to rich sarah for a top night!
I was a couple times for the music scene. it is really great- beautiful staff and beautiful decor.
