Nice restaurant. Good service. Nice food without being outstanding. Value for money terrible. £14 for a dessert. Main courses £32 each with no veg. Our bill for 4 people starters, main, 1 dessert only with one standard bottle of wine was £262! We like the Skeabost Hotel as a venue but won’t be dining here again at these prices. The food is nice but isn’t of a standard to justify what they are charging. We’ve just moved to Skye to live and are disappointed to say the least.
We choose to dine here every time we visit Skye, and sometimes even twice during a week-long stay! The food is consistently excellent, and we will definitely return. The ambiance can vary depending on the other diners; during our last visit, it felt a bit unfocused and was somewhat noisy. However, we always feel warmly welcomed, and the food is always outstanding.
I had a Christmas meal while on vacation, and it was a lovely experience. The service was excellent, and the food was quite good as well. We had the dining room mostly to ourselves since it was so quiet, which was surprising for the holiday season. I would definitely consider going back, and maybe even staying there next time.

Lovely hotel and restaurant. The people at the front desk were very kind and helpful. Dinner was wonderful!
Spacious lounge, cosy bar, large open dining space.... We enjoyed a wonderful dinner with friends.
