Been here several times and each time getting less enjoyable. Not sure whether to return. Just too many misses. Seated 25 minutes after reservation time, super loud where you can't hear, food server was nice but had to yell and repeat the dishes (because it's loud), only had 2 menus for the five of us, food seemed to take a bit longer to arrive, food tasted just okay and one of the pizzas was cold. We weren't checked on for quite a while therefore no water refill, and wasn't offered parmesan cheese until we asked and after into eating our meals. Honestly, the lasagna did not live up to the reviews. I was left wondering why it was so popular. The noodles were overcooked and the sauce tasted like canned minced tomatoes. The cheese and meat were only in the center of the dish and the meat was bland. However, the mushroom risotto and meatball appetizer were delicious. The noise level was very loud, making it difficult to even place a phone call. An elderly gentleman was singing, adding unnecessary noise to the already loud small room.
This was a very positive and rewarding experience. The menu choices were excellent and we had the Clams and linguine and chicken Parmesan. The clam dish had an excellent sauce of wine, butter and olive oil. The chicken was tender, sufficient sauce but not a lot of pasta. Overall, it was tasty and probably would be ordered again.
The food was delicious at this restaurant. They also had a singer performing. The service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere could use some improvement and the prices are becoming quite high everywhere. Our bill came out to around $120 for a dinner for two with dessert and no alcohol.

Waiter was communicative. Wine was delicious. Every piece of our dinner was so flavorful and very good. Leftovers the next day left me wanting more. We want to make this a yearly tradition!
My family and I always enjoy going to The Place. The staff are very friendly and the food is always fantastic. I tell people all the time to check it out. It’s just that good.
