The best fish and chips around! I visited Tasty Plaice in Newbury after hearing great reviews and getting recommendations from friends. What can I say? It's the best fish and chips I've ever had! The cod is top-notch, and the staff are amazing—they always go above and beyond. Whenever I crave fish and chips, this is the only place I want to go. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed!
I really appreciate restaurants where the staff works hard and humbly, truly caring for their customers. The plaice offers an incredible burger and chips that are far superior to the salty and greasy options at other places. During my visit to Newbury, I stopped by this restaurant, and I plan to keep coming back while recommending it to others.
I recently organized a group gathering for 25 people, and I must say, the service was both friendly and efficient. Everything was delivered right on time, and the best part? Everyone raved about how delicious the fish and chips were. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant for future events!
Love it when fish n chips taste fresh and the batter is still crispy, good portion sizes, friendly staff and proper curry sauce! They even threw in a battered 'pig in blanket ' which was so naughty but sooo nice. Proper chippy this, will definitely go back
