If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Spent 20 minutes sitting at the bar waiting for my beer. I finally got the bartenders attention and just asked to close out. He couldn’t figure out how to void my ticket so I just told him to charge me and give me my card. Walked out, tried calling to speak to the manager, no way to get through. Walked back in and asked for the manager and the hostess gave me attitude and told me there was no one in charge that I could speak to. Unreal.
This place USED to be awesome! In fact I brought some family to show them how cool I thought it was ..... ummmm yeah it's not the same. Trying to make it overly formal by having you wait for seating and have you waited on. If you want beer have to go to separate area to order now? Before they had QR codes at tables which made it easy for customers and staff. Now it's just an inconvenient confusing hot mess. Hope owners consider going back to basics for everyone's sake.
My wife and I just had our baby shower in Planing Mill's banquet room this past Sunday. Everything about our experience was fantastic. A special shout-out to Miya, Tabitha and the rest of their Sunday work crew. You guys were all very accommodating, especially since the rest of the restaurant was already busy that day. I have lived in Visalia for 4 years and I have never heard of this place but what a find it was. Service was great, the atmosphere was awesome walking into the restaurant it smelled amazing. Service was terrible had to go to the bar and ask for everything. The female bartender couldn’t stop talking to a guy at the bar to help us. Pizza was great but terrible service. This place is always a fun place to visit. The staff is great! Our waitress was sweet and brought us some wings from the kitchen that were extra and they were awesome! They were the Thai wings...yum! It was great way to spend Mother’s Day! Also I crave the artichoke fritters! Get them, you won’t be disappointed
Fantastic atmosphere. There was an open mic poetry slam going on while I was there. Are you kidding me? How awesome is that? Love the history behind the building and the menu is on point. You gotta look at the Google photos to see the building or you may miss it. It sits a bit off the street. Street parking.
Great list of beers from various breweries and their pizza was exceptional we had the Detroit style and added onion rings to the top which I had never seen before. It was delicious. The food here was great I had pizza and my mom had the pulled pork sandwich. Great homemade dough and tasty sauce on the pizza. We ate outside and brought our dog. They even brought us some dog treats and water for her! I?d eat here again for sure.
