Wow from the service to the food and the atmosphere it was all first class! Service with a smile and all so friendly and it's so warm and cozy inside.. absolutely perfect! Then the food..... Out of this world! From the steak to the lamb they were absolutely delicious! Every mouthful the tastes exploded in your mouth and we literally couldn't get enough. The pate and cod goujons were perfect and then puddings were and perfect end to an absolutely fantastic meal. Sarah is fantastic and nothing is to much and Paul wow what a cook! We are old timers for the Plough, but for various reasons began to use it less regularly. We decided it was time hit an old favorite and to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. We always loved the ambiance and village location, but with a new guvnor, and an excellent menu including freshly cooked pub favorites, all reasonable priced, it has become a must visit. We have been three times since our rediscovery and again next week. Excellent food location service and prices.
Just left The Plough after an outstanding meal celebrating a family birthday today. Food and service excellent and we will definitely going back for more. If anyone is unsure about trying this place, don't be just book in and enjoy, you won't be disappointed.
our first visit for Sunday dinner and it will certainly not be our last. we were immediately greeted by a very friendly renter and his staff. the lunch itself was super, very tasty, totally delicious, generous portions and hot. I couldn't blame, thank you.
