Came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We came on a Wednesday evening thinking it will be calm, we did book. When arrived it was pleasantly busy, no parking spaces in car park but plenty on road. The girls who served us very pleasant and hard working and attentive. The pub/ restaurant has a nice vibe, this was added by other people in the pub the clientele were families and couples. Not loud louts. We did not know what to choose from a very extensive Thai menu. This menu is large. So opted for the set meal. We liked all the food and choice in the set menu was very nice. Some of the starters were deep fried, as meant to be. However for some reason and not the first time my wife had upset...
I dined at the Thai restaurant, and it was the best meal I've ever experienced. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back. The service was outstanding, and we felt well taken care of. There was a party event happening, so it was quite loud and busy, but that didn’t bother us at all. The restaurant offers plenty of outdoor seating, as well as a charming indoor area. Overall, it's a delightful country pub with an attached Thai restaurant. They are very dog-friendly, providing towels, biscuits, and water bowls for pets. However, parking can be a challenge when it’s busy, as it often overflows from the lot and clogs the local road.
I stopped by for a pint and a meal during lunchtime after a circular walk from the Plough. We were pleased to find that we could bring our dog inside with us. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, even providing a bowl of water and some biscuits for our pup. They had a wide-ranging Thai menu, and the food was truly authentic, prepared with fresh ingredients—it was outstanding. This is some of the best Thai food I've had in the UK. I will definitely be returning!
Excellent lunch here today. Choice of Thai menu or English pub restaurant menu. Both equally good. Food was excellent. One of us had Thai, the other had English menu. Staff service also very good. Will be back Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had the Fat Will's lamb burger, along with a side of hot wings. The burger was fantastic, and the wings were perfect as well, with just the right level of spiciness.
First time at this pub. The food was fantastic the staff so lovely every thing was brilliant we will always go there when in the area thank you
Really nice pub with friendly staff and great food, especially on the first Wednesday of each month where they do a steak night.
